Terms of use

The rules for using PinSked. The short version: use it for your own accounts, do not publish things you have no right to publish, credits are yours to spend, and we will not be liable for what Pinterest decides to do with your account.

The agreement

These terms are a contract between you and PinSked ("PinSked", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. You must also comply with Pinterest's own terms of service and community guidelines — nothing in these terms overrides them.

Accounts and teams

  • Keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • Team owners control roles and can remove members. Removing a member does not delete work they created.
  • Tell us promptly if you think an account has been compromised.
  • One person, one account. Do not share logins across a team — invite people instead.

Credits and payment

  • PinSked is pay-as-you-go. You buy credits in advance and they are deducted as you use the service.
  • Credits are held against a team balance, not an individual, and expire 24 months after purchase.
  • Credits have no cash value beyond the refund rights described in our refund policy, cannot be transferred between teams, and cannot be exchanged for money except as required by law.
  • Publishing is charged when Pinterest accepts a pin. A failed publish is not charged.
  • Prices for credit packs and the credit cost of each action may change. Changes apply to future purchases; credits you already hold keep the value they were bought at.
  • If your balance runs out, scheduled pins pause rather than fail. They resume when you top up.
  • Taxes are calculated at checkout by our payment provider, who acts as merchant of record.

Your Pinterest account

You connect your own Pinterest account through Pinterest's OAuth screen and grant the permissions listed there. You can revoke that access at any time from Pinterest or from PinSked.

PinSked is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Pinterest, Inc. We have no control over Pinterest's platform decisions. If Pinterest rate-limits, suspends, restricts or removes your account or your pins, that is between you and Pinterest, and we are not liable for the outcome.

You remain responsible for everything published from your account, including pins you approved that were drafted with AI assistance. That is precisely why approval is required.

Acceptable use

You may not use PinSked to:

  • Publish content you do not have the rights to, including images, text and trademarks belonging to someone else.
  • Post spam, misleading claims, adult content, hate speech, harassment, or anything illegal where you or your audience are.
  • Operate accounts you do not own or are not authorised to manage.
  • Run engagement schemes, bulk-duplicate the same pin to evade limits, or otherwise work around the anti-spam behaviour built into the scheduler.
  • Reverse engineer, resell, or rebrand the service without a written agreement with us.
  • Attempt to access other customers' data, probe our infrastructure, or interfere with the service.
  • Use automated means to create accounts or to consume free credits repeatedly.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload and everything you create in PinSked. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, render and transmit that content solely to run the service for you — for example to render an image, send a draft to a model provider you selected, and publish an approved pin to Pinterest. That licence ends when you delete the content or close your account.

AI-generated output

Drafts produced by AI are suggestions. They can be wrong, generic, or unsuitable for your audience, and identical or similar output may be produced for other customers. You are responsible for reviewing every draft before approving it, and you accept that responsibility when you tick the approval box.

We make no claim to ownership of AI output generated for you. Rights in model output vary by provider and by jurisdiction; if that matters to your business, check your provider's terms.

Our intellectual property

The PinSked software, brand, and the pin templates we supply are ours. You may use the templates to create and publish pins for accounts you manage, including for clients. You may not redistribute, resell or repackage the templates themselves as a product.

Availability

We aim to keep the service running and the queue publishing on time, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, third-party outages and Pinterest rate limits can all delay publishing. Scheduled pins that cannot be published are retried; pins that fail permanently are reported to you.

Suspension and termination

  • You can close your account at any time. Unused credits are refundable only as set out in the refund policy.
  • We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, puts our Pinterest API access at risk, or is used unlawfully. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will warn you first.
  • On closure, your data is deleted as described in the privacy policy.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we exclude all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and merchantability. We do not warrant that using PinSked will increase your traffic, impressions, saves, clicks or revenue.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost traffic, lost data, or any action Pinterest takes against your account. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from content you published through the service, from your breach of these terms, or from your infringement of someone else's rights.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which PinSked is established, and disputes will be heard by the courts there. If you are a consumer, you keep the protections of the mandatory law of your country of residence.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes are emailed to account owners at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use PinSked after that means you accept the new version. If you do not, close your account and request a refund of unused credits under the refund policy.
